What would you highlight about Hostal Pochon
Great hostel, very good location, nice informative staff.
For the price this was outstanding. Very welcoming and accommodating staff, breakfast included, lounge area.
Only downside was upstairs shower had limited hot water, however since Oaxaca has a water shortage currently I think this might be part of that problem.

Nice that breakfast was included in the price, also drinking water available! Friendly staff ready with all the information you need.
The door of our room was made out of glass so there’s a lot of light coming through and heary room. The showers were a bit dirty and there’s no privacy in the bathrooms. Difficult to get ready after a shower when someone else is in the bathroom. Didn’t want to close the whole bathroom otherwise other people couldn’t go to the toilet... Sometimes no hot water in the shower.

What would you highlight about Hostal Pochon
I enjoyed my short stay and would recommend the hostel.
I stayed in the Junior Suite: a bedroom with king-sized bed, a sitting room, private bathroom. The space was roomy, the bed soft; comfy even though I usually prefer a firmer mattress. Super bath towels, but see below! All staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were varied, tasty and filling. The cosinera was kindly accommodating when I asked for a sandwich to go instead of the breakfast being served. (I provided some of the ingredients.) The location is good, convenient to daily yoga classes next door. Nearby streets are a little dark at night, but safe. Great security.
A tiny shower head and lack of water pressure meant I could not use the shower. There was no bedside table/lamp so reading in bed was by the main light of the room. I had thought the outside 'terrace' off the sitting room was for my own use, but was disturbed my first morning by people having breakfast there. It would be helpful if all were advised whether or not it is a common area.

What would you highlight about Hostal Pochon
good location, great wifi and fab staff
The bed was relatively comfy but the showers were great in my opinion and so were all of the staff <3 the area is nice and quiet but also only an 8 minute walk to the centre. The vibe of this hostel is really chill and great for solo travellers - I was only there for one night but I wish I could have stayed longer. There is a tv, dvd player, dvds and netflix. The wifi connection is strong.
the top bunk doesn´t feel very secure! if you´re someone who moves in their sleep it could be a problem. I didn´t like the breakfast but I was only there for one day, maybe just that day was the problem but I can´t say
